Heated Towel Rail Switch Off

It relies on you and your family remembering to switch the towel rail on and off which can lead to a lot of wasted electricity if it is left on unnecessarily.

Whitebears 22 41 tue 06th jul 2010. At least during summer you can turn it off. Hmm well there are three switches outside but ones for the oven. A manual switch can be installed to control your heated towel rail which looks just like a normal light switch.

When adjusting the temperature a flashing red light indicates the power level the longer the red light is on for the warmer the heated towel rail will be. During winter it is therefore impossible to turn off just the towel rail while keeping the rest of the heaters on. This switch is separate from the ones which control the water boiler and the cooking plates. If you re planning on decorating and need to remove a heated towel rail then look no further.
