One of the most common issues with sliding doors is a dirty track where dust pet hair and other debris can accumulate over time.
This video will show you how to replace the wheels rollers on a sliding glass patio door.
To start your sliding glass door adjustment project first lift or lower the door on the track with a screwdriver or allen.
Sliding doors get sticky and hard to open when the wheels are out of adjustment or the track gets dirty.
Grab the two vertical sides of the screen door frame.
First lift the rollers off the track by sliding a flat head screwdriver or putty knife under the roller and pushing up.

With the wheel raised pull the corner of the frame out of the track.

Clean up the track.
Remove the screen door if you have one.
Slide the screen door until the bottom rollers align with the notches located on the outside of the roller track.
Grasp both sides of the frame and lift the door up off of its tracks.
Place the screen doors safely off to the side until you are ready to put them back.
Lift one wheel off the screen door track using your finger or a screwdriver.
