Install Power Conduit On Siding

Remove the cable sheathing down to 1 2 inch.

Install power conduit on siding.

Drill a hole through your structure where you will supply your power. Not just another vinyl siding installation video. Position the end of a 12 in 30 cm drill bit through the hole at the back of the outlet box making sure it doesn t touch any wires. Drill straight through the back of the outlet box and siding.

Attach the bare copper grounding wire to the green screw of your new exterior gfci outlet. Metal conduit from an existing exterior outlet to the new location. To make the connections in the junction box hold the stripped ends of the wires side by side and screw on a wire nut.
