Installing the roof rails 1.
Installing roof rails on a crv.
Install the front and rear rail covers to the roof on the left side of the vehicle.
Or if you don t have roof rails then this will do.
Tighten the screws so that they are snug.
If you have a 2012 2016 crv click here.
Be careful not to over tighten the bolts.
If you have a 2007 2011 crv click here.
Set the torque on your wrench to 7 lbs.
Here are the applicable models.
Pull the rail covers outward and line up the rail covers with the roof molding.
Screw three of the bolts into the bolt holes on each side of the front roof rack using the 5 mm hex wrench that came with your roof rack.

Use a t 25 torx wrench to tighten the bolts.
Secure the front and rear rail covers to the roof with the four torx nuts removed in step.
