Hang a mirror using hooks step 1 hold the mirror in place close to eye level. Make sure you have enough space on the wall for the mirror and otherwise decide how you want it positioned relative to other items on the wall and in the room. Find a place to hang the mirror. Hold the mirror against the wall at the desired position. To use drill a pilot hole then tap the entire bolt sleeve and screw into the hole until flush against the wall. Like all mirrors in the house you should hang it at eye level.

Molly bolts are a medium weight hollow wall anchor. Once you ve tightened the bolt fully you can unscrew it a bit for space to hang the mirror. Tighten the bolt into the wall to expand the anchor. Finding a stud can be useful but not necessary if you have a strong enough hanger.

Place a scrap piece of wood that is approximately half as long as the mirror is wide underneath the hanging wire on back of the frame.
