Mark the stud with a pencil at the proper height based on the hanger on the back of the wall clock.
As with the expansion anchor drive it in until it sits flush with the drywall.
And then you hang your item.

The only safe method of hanging a clock is to secure it to a wall stud with a long eye screw.
The position that you choose to hang the wall clock should be supported by a stud.
Bore a hole in the wall large enough to accommodate the toggle.
About 2 cm of the nail should stick out from the wall.
You can trim a plastic bolt flush with its nut after installation.
Then take your power drill and drive the threaded anchor into the drywall just like you would with a normal screw.
Plastic versions hold medium loads 10 pounds to 25 pounds in drywall and plaster.

Now position the nail on the spot and use a hammer to drive it inside the stud.
Use the stud finder to locate a stud in your desired hanging location.
If a stud behind drywall is available always use the stud with a screw coming straight out of the stud through the drywall exposing about 1 2 3 4 far enough so the head is on the inside of the clock of an inch outside the drywall.
This is how far my mirror sticks out from the wall.
Determine the weight of the item you ll be hanging onto the wall.

Start by drilling a hole about the size of the tip of the threaded anchor.
Fit the item to be anchored over the bolt then insert the toggle and tighten.
Select a hollow wall drywall anchor rated to hold the weight of your item.
If you have a bathroom scale simply step onto the scale while holding.
Okay so then you just stick the hook in the wall and it will look like this.
To check whether you have a stud at the location of your choice you can use a stud finder.
A secure screw coming directly out of the wall works well for this clock.
